Early Childhood Education, New Orleans
Ongoing Support for Children Impacted by Disaster. Children who suffer through the displacement and loss associated with disaster need ongoing support. They are less likely to finish high school, more likely to have problems with drugs and alcohol, and are in need of ongoing support that builds coping skills. The Early Childhood Education project brings volunteers to disaster impacted communities such as New Orleans and works with schools, head start programs, and after school programs. More...
