Katrina's Kids
Ongoing Support for Children Impacted by Disaster. Children who suffer through the displacement and loss associated with disaster need ongoing support. They are less likely to finish high school, more likely to have problems with drugs and alcohol, and are in need of ongoing support that builds coping skills. The Katrina's Kids project brings volunteers to disaster impacted communities and works with schools, head start programs, and after school programs. More...
