CC International volunteers will be working with Head Start and Early Head Start centers operated by Total Community Action located in New Orleans providing direct service to pre-school children and support for the overall program.

Location

TCA operates 8 Head Start Centers throughout the New Orleans area, 5 delegate centers, 5 Early Head Start Centers and 2 child care partners.

Project

Head Start is a child and family development program that provides services and experiences to promote the growth and development of the family with special emphasis on a comprehensive range of services to the family's 3 and 4 year old preschool children, including children with disabilities
