Hurricane Relief Projects
CCI has been responding to disasters in the US since Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast in 2005. The chaos created by a natural disaster makes it challenging to manage and deploy volunteer teams. Over the years, we have built strong partnerships with other disaster relief agencies, deployed thousands of volunteers, and know how to efficiently put volunteer teams to work where they are needed most.
CCI provides all food, lodging, tools, safety equipment, project coordination and insurance so that your volunteer team can focus on helping people impacted by the disaster.
Disaster Relief Project Locations: *CCI monitors hurricane season activity to identify and respond to the urgent needs of affected communities. CCI carefully assesses the most impacted areas to select locations for its Volunteer Facilities, ensuring that volunteers are deployed where they are needed most.

“Community Collaborations made it simple and easy to serve those who needed help the most. They worked all of our site logistics and collaborated, so all of our work tools and equipment were ready when we got there. Our lodging and meals were very accommodating, and we owe CCI a huge thank you to helping us do what we all need to be doing anyway, serving those in need”-Tod Humbert, Tennessee Wesleyan

Other Ways to Help
Not everyone can take a week of their life to travel to these communities suffering from disaster like our student volunteers do, but most people can chip in so we can make the most of their volunteer efforts.
Funds are always needed to buy building materials and hire electricians and plumbers, so our teams can get the job done.
