This Volunteer Agreement is between Community Collaborations International (CCI)
and the undersigned volunteer (Volunteer). CCI will arrange logistics for
you and your team to serve in the registered community. You agree to volunteer your
time and talents to the best of your ability, and to respect local laws and customs, and to
adhere to CCI policies.
CCI will provide safe accommodations, three daily meals (including
vegetarian options), well-organized and supervised volunteer projects, necessary tools
and equipment, and liability insurance. For international programs, a bilingual
coordinator and in-country transportation are provided. The Project Service Fee covers
the described services. International airfare and related travel expenses are not
included in the Project Service Fee.
A full refund is available if you withdraw 30 days or more before the Project Start Date.
Both parties are responsible for any liabilities arising from their own negligence or
misconduct. As permitted in accordance with applicable state law, and with respect to any claim or action arising out of the activities described or performed under this Agreement, the parties mutually agree that each will remain responsible for any and all liabilities, claims, damages, charges and expenses (collectively referred to as “liability”) incurred by reason of the negligence or willful misconduct of its employees, governing board members, students, faculty, agents or assigns arising from the activities under this Agreement; and that neither party shall by this Agreement transfer such liability to the other.
This Agreement does not transfer liability from one party to the other.
By signing, you grant CC International permission to use your likeness in photos and
videos for promotional purposes without compensation. You waive any rights to inspect
or approve the final products and acknowledge that you will not receive royalties or
other compensation.
